Who is Ann Barker?
Ann is the Member of Parliament for the State electorate of Oakleigh. She sits in the Legislative Assembly (or Lower House) of the Victorian Parliament.

Ann lives in Oakleigh.

What does Ann do?
As the local representative, Ann helps residents, schools, businesses and other groups with Victorian Government matters and works hard to improve the local area. She meets with residents and organisations; works with ministers and government departments; attends local events and visits local schools and businesses. When she’s in Parliament, Ann takes part in debates about new laws; gives speeches on issues affecting the Oakleigh electorate and attends meetings of the Parliamentary Labor Party.

Ann was first elected as the State Member for Oakleigh in September 1999 and was re-elected in November 2002, in November 2006 and again in December 2010
