- funding measures to improve safety in playgrounds in Glen Eira
- funding for shade cloths at Koornang Park (Lord Reserve) Carnegie
- $15,000 to Glen Eira Council for Recreation Strategy
- $50,000 to Glen Eira Council for Neerim Road to Bentleigh Bike Trail
- $58,320 to Royal Life Saving Society Oakleigh for boating safety education for children
- $138,750 for spectator shelter at Oakleigh Cannons home ground the Jack Edwards Reserve
- $2 million to assist with the refurbishment of the Oakleigh swimming pool complex
- funding to assist with installation of rain water tanks at Lauriston Tennis Club, Carnegie
- $60,000 to upgrade lighting at Jack Edwards Reserve, Oakleigh
- sports uniform grants to Murrumbeena Football Club and Oakleigh Cannons Junior Football Club
