Equipment update for Moorabbin Hospital
Ann Barker joined the Minister for Health, Daniel Andrews, at the Moorabbin Hospital to annnounce a grant of $460,000 to replace equipment which is now outdated.
The Moorabbin funding is part of a $3.7 million allocation to Southern Health and will enable the hospital to update and replace 67 ward beds and a patient bariatric hoist. The funding will also provide two physiological monitors and three new defibrillators.
In announcing the funding Ann Barker said “this Brumby Government funding will provide the Moorabbin Hospital with the most modern techology now available and continues our significant investment in rebuilding and improving Victorian hospitals.”
