About Ann Barker

Ann Barker was first elected as the State Member for Oakleigh in September 1999 and was re-elected in November 2002 and again in November 2006.
Ann is a member of the Victorian Government led by Premier John Brumby. She was elected Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in December 2006.
Ann is a well known advocate for the local community. Strongly representing local residents and community organisations to ensure they get a fair go.
Her particular policy interests are health, education and youth issues.
Ann is married with two adult children and lives in Oakleigh.
